⚠️ Call for vigilance in the Tiputa area…

⚠️ Call for vigilance in the Tiputa area…

A new little dolphin has joined the bottlenose dolphin community!🐬🌊

Born at the end of August, this little female is currently swimming with her mother and the clan in and around Hiria Pass. At this age, the little dolphin is still very vulnerable. To watch over her and give her every chance to grow up safely, we call on everyone's responsibility:

  • 🚤 Slow down: Reduce your speed in and around the pass.
  • 👀 Keep an eye out: Stay vigilant at the helm and watch the water around your vessel.
  • 🛑 Do not chase or cut off: Give space to the mother and her calf, do not try to separate the group.
  • 🤿 When snorkeling or scuba diving: Remain passive, do not chase the baby, do not try to touch it, and respect its tranquility as well as that of its mother and the other dolphins.

Taking care of the marine wildlife of Tiputa is everyone's business!

Thank you all for your cooperation and kindness in preserving the bottlenose dolphins.
