Several females in the community appear to be receptive, and the males spend a lot of time squabbling. Tikei is one of the bottlenose dolphins most 'mistreated' by his peers and is himself regularly observed harassing other individuals. In this socialization sequence photographed in October, Tikei was harassing all the dolphins present, especially Yuki. We also see Zélie and Câline in the background. These 'rough' interactions partly explain the presence of so many scars on the dolphins' bodies!
